Getrag swap question

fellas, I'm swappin' the getrag into my '93 w350 this weekend. It's an auto right now but don't be for long. My question is how do I measure where to cut the hole in the floor for the shifter to come throught? Does anybody have measurements or anything else to go by from their swap? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

it should have a place on the floor under the carpet that's outlined or marked were you cut the hole.

I looked under the carpet today and didn't find any marking to cut the hole or an outline of the hole. Anybody else have an idea?

Best I can do. Hope it gives you an idea on where to start with a smaller hole n work your way outwards.

Can anybody help who has done a getrag swap help me out? I really wanna do this right and not leave a huge hole in floor. Thanks fellas!
