Question GEAR vendor OverDrive unit

Has anyone Ever bought a GearVendor Over Driver Unit For the GETRAG or NV4500 ??? i would buy one
, from what i have read , you can split gears ?

It would be worth it if you did a lot of hgwy drivin. There are other companies that make em. I believe us gear is one. I would love to do this ....sometimes I go for seventh

Well im planing on Doing 3.07s in my truck for highway crusieing and when i tow my car trailer to the Track i can Split her , up hills =)


Isnt USGEAR only for Exhaustbrakes ???

I have a 5831 Spicer 3 speed auxiliary (brownie box) in my '92. It works Great. Run in 4th over when pulling heavy, run in double over when not.

nope they make overdrive units too...just recently one of those two(gv or usg) stopped makin em...
