High idle

Here we go again I'm trying to get my idle lowered it's at 1000 now. I ground the idle screw has been ground and I tried adjusting the linkage with no luck I can still see light between the lever stop and idle screw. Do I need to reindex the throttle? If so where should I set it. Thanks in advance.

You probably need to adjust the ball linkage, spread them apart.

What happens when You pop off one of the ball ends on the linkage, will it touch the idle stop?

Question, is your idle screw backed all the way out? And it won't touch? Can you post a picture of where it's at?
