Sudden loss of boost.

Hey! Been awhile since I been on here. This morning I lost almost all of my boost. It only goes to 5 psi. Its cloudy behind me and my EGT goes hi really fast. I'm going to start to look for boost leaks.

Pull the intake off the turbo and make sure the wheel spins free too. I'd bet you ripped a boot and have a massive boost leak though.

If it happened all of a sudden it's probably a connection, If it is a rubber boot and you can't find one quick radiator hose will work.

Been using that on mine for about 5 years and still holding strong.

I vote boost leak as well. I've bought boots off of Amazon and they seem fine and didn't cost much.

Thanks guys! As right now I can't see any visible damage to my boots. Gonna look a little harder here in a few.

Hey guys I can't seem to find a leak. I took it for another test drive and I don't even hear my turbo spooling.

Did you inspect turbo yet? Could have issues.

I took off the intake and the turbo spins fine with no play. I started it with no intake and the turbo sounds normal. Just no spooling. Just plenty of unburnt fuel lol

Maybe check your intercooler? I've heard of them coming apart and leaking. Also check your intake plate gasket, I don't think it would be that great of a leak.
