injector #3 NOT COMING OUT!

The first injector came out nicely. The second injector was rough. The third will not come out. It's loose and will spin 360; I just made an 8' lever with a 4x4 and still not coming out.

Open to suggestion....

Mine where pretty carboned up. Let the penetrating oil work on it for a while.

Back nut up blowdirt and rust out with compressed air. Fill threads around injector with JB80 let it soak for 15 minutes. Start wiggleing injector should come right out

I bought a metric nut from Napa that fit the injection line threads. I set one of the other hold down nuts on top of the one on the injector and used it like a spacer. I finger tightened the metric nut down then backed off the hold down nut on the injector. It backed right out.

The injector must come straight up. If you twist it the locating ball will be driven through the body rendering the injector core useless.
