Rough Idle
Hi all, I am having a very rough idle, but runs decent (a little rough) when reved up Fuel filters been changed and now lift pump changed. The only thing I couldn't do is prime it, as I can't seem to figure out how to turn the crank 90 degrees, (What the best way?) I tried priming while it was running but it didn't help.

The rough Idle yes. I ran a leaky fuel filter for (as in my fuel filter thread) a while, then couple days ago it started fine, then ran a bit rough on the way to town, and then roughy idle at the lights in town, fixed the fuel leak on the filter, still ran rough, changed the lift pump, still runs rough. I didnt get a change to bleed it properly though as the lever on the lif pump aint doing anything, and I havent figured out how the rotate the crank

you can bleed the injectors one at a time while the truck is running. wear old clothes and eye protection as it can get messy.

it will bleed all of the system but it would mak a big mess.. seeing as you have both been running your trucks all the air should have been forced to the injectors. i am not aware as to where else the air ( if that is what it is ) could be hiding. i will be watching this as i've seen this problem before and bleeding at the injectors fixed it.. this might be something else and i want to learn how to fix it too. send philip or greenleaf a pm. please post what you learn.
