You can turn up the fuel by turning the fuel screw. This won't do as much for your small injectored IC'd '93 as it does for the older ones. Watch out for a run-away if you turn it up too much. I would install the new pump, get it all working well and then play with the adjustments. Not every 'new' pump is perfect and it is a good idea to see if it works well before getting into the adjustments. When you do turn up the fuel, the idle rpms will climb then you should turn down the idle. Our linkages are often worn. Check to see if you are getting full throttle when the pedal is on the floor. I have had to fiddle with mine a lot before I got anything like wot.

where did you buy your remanufactured pump from? when mine went out i could only find one place that had them in stock and that was columbus diesel. i had to give them the core charge because my core was un-rebuildable. my core was gernaded when the govenor flew apart.

Some pumps are set-up beautifully and some are not. Usually they are pretty close. Sometimes they are not properly rebuilt. That is why I would install it first, get it running well and then tweak it. That way you will know whether it is a problem with the pump or a problem with your tweaking. I can't tell you how many times I have made a number of changes at the same time and came to regret it later. Be patient and make one change at a time.
