You have 4 choices for intercoolers. A 1st Gen or second gen Dodge intercoooler, a 7.3 Ford PowerStroke intercooler, or you can go to a custom one. The intercooled trucks have a bigger H1C than the Non I/C trucks.

The 1st gen IC's WONT bolt in to a 89-91 truck, they have a different rad support in the front.

Turn the pump up a bit, get a free flowing exhaust and chop up the intake box. Get a boost and pyrometer. You should have some decent grunt with that.

It will go in with a little fab work. Its not to hard of a swap. I know two people that have done it. One is a 86 CC conversion. The other is a 90 W250. It goes in a lot easyer than you think.

It will take work to get it to fit. Its not a bolt in application. Its really not hard, but I was just saying its not bolt in. You need to make mounting tabs and brackets.
