if you turn your fuel screw on the back of your pump about 2 turns you more than likely wont run away and that should give u a bit some people on here forget how it is and not everyone is worried about bs global warming i worry about it about as much as the next time santa cause guess what those two have in common but that should do you enough to smoke out an intersection or two

do not ask to make smoke. what you want is power. smoke is the byproduct of that power. there is a ton of info about making mods to your truck. all three sections on the 1st gen trucks have tech articles and stickys. go there and read. there are lots of horse power ( and smoke ) to be had for free. read about the ve pump. read about the fuel screw, that's the biggest boost you can do for free. we have been seeing alot of these questions lately and it takes up a lot of time and space to answer this excact same question 3 or 4 times a week. i hope you didn't get chased off by the ribbing. just rub the sore spots and come on back.

here you go, turning-up-ve-injection-pump . click tech articles, click link, scroll down. 6th one down

Nobody on this forum believes in global warming, I believe in it about and much as santa clause and the easter bunny. Why people get so mad at these questions is because by blowing smoke you are just bringing on tighter regulations and putting another nail in the coffin of our sport. I can blow smoke like no other but there is a time and a place for it and blacking out intersections and downtown is definitly not the place for it. Why do you think trucks have DPFs on them now and are tuned to run like chit and not blow smoke from the factory. Because the whining soccor moms and prius driving liberals that voice there opinions got smoked out by some redneck sitting at a light one time. If you are messing around with your buddies out of town or on a lonely road blow all the smoke you want, I do. But there are consequinces for smoking out intersections and downtown event it you dont get in trouble at that time.

Now there have been several people that have told him how to make smoke but remember "with great power comes great responsibility"-spiderman

dude dont listen to these people. black smoke is very fun to do but not fun if you overheat. heres what you do: 1-get gauges(egt) 2-max out your pump 3-get you some pod injectors 4-there is your excessive smoke
