Thumbs up Getrag 360 input shafts

Does Anyone Know Where I Can Get An An 1 3/8 Input Shaft For The Getrag, I Want To Put The Big Twin Disc In For Sled Pulling

I don't think anyone makes one for the getrag. You might want to swap in a nv 4500 if you're going to sled pull with much power over 450hp.

oh why do you think the 4500 is stronger? they have finner cut teeth on the gears and the oil for them is expensive, not to mention 5th gear falls off, my getrag was starved of oil (underfilled from factory) for 300 thousand miles when i got it out of a doner truck, and it still works flawlessly, i dont really want to swap it out, doesnt kta's getrag put down 627 hp through a getrag?

yes it does. ive been wondering this also....cuz if i get a DD for mine then i might as well get a bigger input shaft.

no one makes a big input shaft for the getrag Yet.

i run a SB 3600DD with no issues.

I never had a 3250, went for the 3600 since they cost the same.

The problem with the Getrag is frequent high-torque, LOW rpm pulling wearing out the input-shaft bearings. This is not a problem with competition pulling. People pull competitively with Getrags all of the time.
