93 stock 2wd; issues with grid htr, OD
My "wait to start" is a sometimes thing, and flickers sometimes when driving down the road. coupled with this, the truck will not shift to OD when the "wait to start" is flickering. The other day I was travelling thru town, hit a bump and the "WTS" light went out, and the OD was again selectable and working. Today we are back to same problems. Cleaned all the connectors behind dash and under hood. I,m starting to think PCM. Any ideas?

The PCM is located behind the battery. Unhook the main wiring plug. Look into the female side. If you see any terminals that are not round. Take a very small screw driver and gently bend them back to a round shape. Then see if the problems go away.

Some of us in the north do the same thing.... Mine's MIA... Made it through last winter with no problems..Truck turns over 3 cylinders instead of 2 before starting.
