I don't want to hijack the thread but I've also been thinking about a tach and naturally the Isspro would be my first choice. My truck being a 91.5 has the harness right? At least it has some sort of a harness under the dash by the fuse box that isn't being used... I think it's a 3 or 4 wire harness. I can't remember which Also, on eguages are you referring to the harness seup they sell for like $15 to wire that in to hook to the harness in the truck?

Richard on your 91.5 look at the front of the engine. By #1 valve cover is there a 2 wire plug with the wiring going down to the harmonic balancer??? If you do not have that wiring and plug then your truck doesn't have a crank position sensor. That is needed for the Isspro or other brand tach's made to work off the factory harness. Most 91.5's do not have the CPS on them. Some early 92's don't eather. That would leave you with an AutoMeter alt tach or rigging up some form of sensor to trigger a tach signal for you.
