Shift Kit???

I've really thought about gettin a shift kit for my truck... I've heard it will help save your tranny...Is it worth the money? how hard is it to install? if anyone has one, let me know how you like it. I've also though about gettin a better torque convertor...I've heard the stock ones can only hold up to about 240 hp or so...

As for the converter, My money is on hughes. They reman your converter in a weeks turnaround time ussually. Trans-go makes a great kit. Not to bad to install but if you're only an oil-changer/battery swaper it's not the job for you. Or call DTT and get a valve body and a converter in one place.

Mine will not and it felt good till I droped these 6x.018" injectors in.

I have used Transgo, B&M, and a couple of brands off the market now. Most do the job well.

Like CP was wondering is. What is your mechanical ability. It isn't a drop in affair. You do need some mechanical knowledge.

TransGo does have a decent set of instructions.

Just get a manual valve body already built.

Although they're harder to find and more expensive for the overdrive transmissions than the non-overdrive transmissions.
