Mine changes on the fly.
You shouldn't have to stop except to keep your hand from jumping around ( after all - these trucks DO ride so smooth )

Just thought of one other thing ----

You did connect the center wire from the TPS connector to the center terminal on the pot ????
The outside connections don't matter but that CENTER one must remain the center.....

yes i did also solderd the crimp pins to the wire and heat shrinked every thing exept the tps plug so i dont have to mess around with it also sprayed some electrical cleaner on it to clean the terminals i didnt mount the pot yet i noticed my pot goes from about 8 a clock to 6 o clock turn radius with the connecions at the bottum is this normal ?

Yes, nearly all have about a 270* - 300* rotation. Find the approximate middle - hold the connections at the bottom and turn the shaft to about 12 o'clock.
That gave me about 35 mph into 3rd and 38 mph shift into OD with light throttle. Then turn it just a little and the OD should kick in later. IF it kicks in about the same, turn the shaft the other way.
1 more thing I just thought of :
IF I turn my shaft the wrong way then try to set CC, the cruise accelerates like it's trying to catch up to the 'accelerate button'....Clear ?
Like you set the CC at 45, tap the brakes, then hit resume. The CC accelerates to 45 again. But if you keep hitting the 'accelerate' button before you reach 45 then the CC will constantly try to catch up.....

Do you know that the TV and TV control cable is operating properly and properly adjusted?

I couldn't stands it no more and had to change the thread title....... It's all good.
