bhaf how much of an increase did you guys get out of yours?? mpg,power,egt drop

I noticed a slight drop in EGT's however intake temp went up due to no heat shield. Also notice more turbo whistle.

well i had the stock filter on the truck and took the hole airbox off it and she wistled pretty good now i got the bhaf and she whistles about the same i dont have and egt gauage so dont no how much it droped

What does bhaf stand for? I must be missing something cuase I have no idea. Which ones work the best?

Don't have the biggest filter, but -
with my Amsoil 4510 I get better air flow and some whistle.
I do have the filter shielded from the engine compartment.
The temp at the intake horn went down ~ 20* - guess due to better flow...
After I "reworked" the firewall behind the park lights the intake temp dropped nearly 35* to just above outside temps and the temp at the intake horn is ~ 25* warmer.
Those temps are not pushing the engine. When my tranny gets rebuilt I'll push it to see what happens to the temps then.
