Drill the stock A pillar trim piece and run the wires behind it.

I can't speak for glowshift gages. I have used AutoMeter or Isspro gages. Both work well. Both of those MFG's use standard 194 bulbs. They provide good lighting if the grounds are good on the gages. That also depends on how you wire them also. I wire them into the dash light circuits so the dimmer works on them.

I have Isspro in both my trucks, but my brother recently got some glowshift gauges for his 99 dodge, and I have to say that I like the glow shift gauges "look" a whole lot better, way brighter as compared to the Isspro, and being able to change the color is pretty cool. but I dont like the setup for their boost boost gauge(like the type of hose they use and u gotta use a restrictor in the line, its just pretty retarded IMO.) and Glowshift gauges are setup to where when the gauge is functioning, the lights are on(on the gauges). which kinda sucks during the day b/c the rest of your lights are off then those 2-3 gauges have lights on.

So overall its your decision, but if i had to summarize IMO, I like the looks of glowshift way better but the functioning/set up of the isspro better.

just dont use the gloshift two guage A pillar pod. guages have a weird angle in the hole and the top one is hard to read the low end. I run autometer z series...xtra reliable but the pyro dosent lightup as well as the rest

well i was at a salvage yard for dodges the other day with my buddy cause he wrecked his dually so we was lookin for parts. i was lookin at this old junky first gen and seen these sweet gauges on the dash. there all isspro gauges mounted in a 4 hole pod that mounts on the dash angled towards the driver. i have never seen a pod made like this for a 1st gen. it has a tach, oil temp, egt, and a boost gauge. i knew i had to have it so i ask the man what he would take for the whole thing. he said if i take it off... $ 75 for it all! i said SOLD!! i got it all hooked in my truck now except the oil temp gauge i didnt crawl under the truck to unhook it, i just cut the wires. il try to post up pics soon

That dash pod is a banks setup. It is N/A from Banks. When the rounded trucks came he was like all the other aftermarket MFG's. They forgot that Dodge made a pre 94 truck.
