i was wondering which would be better for the truck in my sig. An airdog 100 or 150 or the 2nd lify pump with a regulator.

i think theres no comparison!
2nd gen lp still uses the restrictive fuel lines and filter
but im not bashing it many people have success with it
but
the air dog or fass are all 1/2 inch lines!!
better filtering
im working on a fuel system upgrade myself!!
good luck

thanks for the quick reply and thats what i was thinking, and the airdog or fass have all the lines and fittings so that makes it better that searcning around for them but like u said i'm not bashing on the 2nd gen lp i just think those pumps make more sense.

I went all 1/2" lines, a bypass reg, and 2nd gen pump over the AD/FASS setup because I don't want to have to rely on anything electrical on my truck. I know I could get more fuel from an electric but I don't need it yet nor will I for a long while.

I have an airdog 150, and I love it, very consistent fuel pressure all the time. I am also the type that prefers mechanical over electrical any day, but I was afraid after I am done with the mods to this thing I was gunna be past what a piston pump could handle, so I went against my better judgement and got this. Been great so far, 1/2 kit was pretty easy to install. Smoothed the truck out a bit too. Average mileage is about 1 mpg better than before the airdog.

2nd gen pump is cheaper, AD/FASS has to be easier to install.

When I say easier it's not by much. You still have to drop tank, run lines, install fittings...there's just a few less fittings to install. Up to you what you do.
