Done Something Custom Lately??

If you could, post some of the neat tricks or ideas or tips that you know. like i seen some guy built his own twin intake manifold, or a way to keep oil circulating better, or maybe new exhaust styles, or how to make your own air intank or ram air, or something you thought of but really dont know how it would work.

Front mount intercooler.

Custom TIG welded 2.5inch piping fabbed with off the shelve 90degree mandrel bends. The hardest part was finding the guts to cut into my brand new front bumper!!! The rest was easy, hold the bends untill you get each end where you need them then weld.

I needed a way to purge air out of my 1000 PSI water injection system, as well as a way to ensure that it is working while rolling down the road.

So I installed a pressure washer nozzle in my windshield washer nozzle holder and plumbed it up to another nitrous solenoid.

So now I have 1000 PSI windshield washers. Yeah baby yeah.

Pros, well, its right in the airstream. So I figured in the front was the best place for it. And that was the only place I could find room for it!!! Cons, well, it's right in the front of the truck so it gets peppered by rocks. Next on my list is to put some stainless mesh infront of it. The intercooler I bought used off ebay, it's 3 inches thick, 26x18 inches and has 3 inch in and outlets. EGT's dropped 200 degrees going from non intercooled to intercooled.
