well im 19 and have drived my truck everyday since I was 16. I have pulled with it, dragged it, gotten rearended twice and gotten layed in it countless times..Why are yall giving this kid ? And sorry I have out pulled a ford plenty of times I do it all the time where I work. When the 379 gets stuck and so does the loader I gotta pull them out, and the ford that my friend claimed was the couldnt do it lol. But yeah I also take care of the truck but these trucks were made for work anyway not looking like a pretty boy thats what a ford is for....sorrry i had a pointless rant

if you do pull him you should throw about 800 to 1000lbs of weight in the bed. get it as close to the tailgate as you can. drop your tires down to 20 to 25 lbs. if he does hane 4x4 make sure he doesn't use low range even with the hubs unlocked. if you can get the tires to hokk up the you will out pull him.

I really dont think that you would have been able to outpull him in the set up that you have. he has a 4x4 f250 which is much higher at the bumper then your truck. If you would have hooked bumpers, then he basically would have lifted your rear tires off of the ground releasing all traction that you had, and power wouldnt matter in the least bit. The reason I know this is because Ive seen it and it is basic physics. I only do this kind of thing when the two trucks are even in height at the pulling point. This is a true test of power and traction

Haha I dont blame you I use beat the snot out of my ford before i wrecked it. Yeah you guys like to say kids always do childish things, but I have seen my fare share of "adults" do childish things, and more power to them its their truck not yours. So I say congrats to him for stepping up to the bet.

Either way he is still gonna be taller then you and lift your rear tires off the ground. Zero traction = No win.. Good luck man, I hope your able to tow is truck around, but its gonna take one helluva good start on your end to win

I have to be honest I have had a few people that have talked about their truck. It is natural to try and do it to boost up your truck. I think that we all have done this at one time or another. I love my turd, but I will admit it is not running the way I want it to, but I have been sucked into the I can pull you thing. Had a guy in an Avalanche tell me that he could haul this and that with no problem and that he tow me around. I let his EGO get the better of me, so I grabbed my chain out of the back and hooked him up. He had it in 4x4 and I left it in 4x2 and he was sadly disappointed as all he did was spin tires as I dragged him backwards. Had I used 4x4 I do not think that my truck would have even worked, never mind Lo. You just have to remember that weight wins and make sure you have good U joints or you will break .
