choosing injectors

i got my truck togather and running, took it to my old college professor and found 3 the injectors are popping off early. so im gonna upgrade i tow with the truck often but not all the time. normally around 7,000 to 8,000lbs or so nothing to major. i dont want PODs because i hear they really raise egts espessially when towing. i am also going to add a denny T pin, and 366 spring at the same time. i want some decent power but still want a drivable workable truck.
thanks

o i already have gauges just so ya guys no, also if it helps im running a zf5 and 3.55 gears

i would suggest a 5x12 or a 5x14, it will add a good amount of fuel flow and still be able to tow 8000 with the egts being reasonable

Sounds like 5x.012 would work.

Your EGT gauge is mounted PRE turbo right ?

How are the smoke and mileage with the DDP's? Any difference from 3's to 4's?

The price difference is so little between the 3 and 4 i'd just get the 4.

DDP's are a well mannered power making injector, I'll leave it at that.

Mileage, same probably. depending how you drive.

Just so you're aware, even with all of my mods I have no problems with PODs. I'm switching them out for something much larger (5x18's or 5x20's) but for the money they were a great injector despite what everyone else (who probably don't have them) say about them. Good, cheap HP. Yes, there are better injectors out there for a little more cash but if you can find good used PODs you'll be happy.

Will a stock turbo handle the 4's?

It really depends on pump tuning. Philip runs big fat 6x.018's and an HX40 in his truck but his pump is 90% stock....and has no problem with EGT's.

A mild pump and DDp4's with a hybrid 60mm will do ok. the fuel pin upgrade is what really makes things hot
