2. Again, if you have a stock Non I/C engine, POD's aren't the easiest way to get to 400rwhp, the stock injectors are. With an intercooled engine, I agree, POD's are the cheapest way. 3. I don't see who is claiming they don't smoke? One guy claimed his stock Non I/C injectors smoke that much, but I can't see anything else. I must be getting old... Non I/C engines have different pistons bowls than the I/C engines, and "supposedly" the POD's are more suited to the spray angle of a Non I/C engine. It is generally accepted that POD's have the wrong spray angle for our trucks, hence why they make so much smoke and heat. Kind of like the "marine" injectors people put in these trucks.

I have been told that in order to get rid of the haze at idle, you'll need to run very advanced timing. Not sure if there is any truth to that. just to shed some light on the timing thing you said ive been runnin pods for a few months now and yes the timing helps in haze because the injector bar is diffrent i think pods are 165 and stockers are 145 so the advanced timing help put bar in order so if you do get a set put the timing to the head, wont haze and gets alot more power out of them. and to say if pods are worth gettin a smart man told me that thier not meant for are trucks, there a mairne injector but for best bang for your buck thier about the best thing for a intercooled truck. sorry i ranted but i hope this helps.

Well, I have a set of PODs, run them for about a year now. They don't haze, my timing is 1/8" advanced, they don't smoke too bad (my AFC is out so that's a LITTLE subjective HA HA)...all around, they were cool for what I could afford at the time. Going to 6x.016s soon.

ddp 4 are a really clean and good injector but they also coast a boat load, 370s are alittle bigger than pods and will probley smoke less or the same a coast a little more (depends on who you look at) and pods are smokie and cheap and make good power and 190s are well there samller then stock but more effent hence why they give you more power. but all these injector questions all come down to what your trying to do with your truck. like for towing and dont want to upgrade the turbo 190s are the way to go, but if you want a cheap race truck thats only gona carry your but around pods are the way to go, and ddp 4 are good for a guy who wants power with out a crazy amount of smoke and good power with mpgs.

a set of 370s and a hx 40 or s300 would make a good hauling/play set up i think, or just get any injector and hook up a valet switch for when you tow

the smoke is all up your right foot anyway, you can keep them from smoking if you want. if you don't want to spend alot get PODs. I'm making over 400rwhp, and getting 19mpg with my PODs...yea i do get 16 mpg when im playing alot. so yes they are smokey, i can stop traffic and make them wait for the next red light, but when road rage or goofing off isn't a factor PODs are not out of control smokers
