Radio Schematic

Does anyone have a schematic of the inside on the radio? or has some knowledge of the wires coming of the tape deck?

I looked, I didnt find anything. Basically I'm looking for the right and left signal wires coming out of the tape deck. I'm going to splice into these with a Auxiliary input so I can plug my phone into my stock radio.

Yes there are easier ways to do this like buying FM direct and modulators, but I'd rather not. And I know this is possible just have to find the wires.

In the 98.5-02 section these were recently posted. Maybe one of the threads can help.

I looked at both of those and they differ from my stock 93 tape deck greatly.

I have my radio apart and I'm trying to find the right and left channel using a multimeter, Im having bad luck tho.

Could anyone provide any insight?

Have you tried to look at an aftermarket wiring harness? Wires should be the same, color wise.

I need a schematic of the inside of the printed circuit board. I'm trying to find the pre-amp inputs

Do you have a Chilton's manual? If not I can check if it's in there.

No, I do not. However I got it all done. I ended up going to the junk yard and getting a Tape deck out of a 91 Dodge Daytona. It has the cd slave plug in the back. So i just tapped into that.

The on/off switch basically grounds the AUX ON pin out and thats what tells the head unit to switch to pick up the CD input. Ill do a write up on this soon.

The whole purpose was to have a factory radio with AUX input, I dont much care for aftermarket head units

a write up on this would be awesome since I feel the same way. Aftermarket head units just don't look right in these old trucks
