paint

im not sure if this is the right section to post this but im gettin a first gen project for the summer and im gnna throw a fresh paint job on it regardless and i was wonderin if it is worth it to paint it myself or have it painted professinally i dont care if id have to redo in a few years but im on a tight budget so watevers gonna be cheaper thanks guys

if ur not to conserned with perfect looks roll on tremclad with a foam roller. it dosnt look that bad and lasts a couple years while stoping rust. save up for a reputable place to get a body job cheap ones never last and its cost more in the long run to fix bad work.

im from northern ontario probalbly see more salt leaving town then u will in florda ever lol and tremclad protects good for a couple years as long as u touchup paint chips on the rockers and such

it dependes on what colers you want a light coler is easier to paint then a dark coler so if you want a yellow or wight then go for it your self but if you want a dark blue or black then get a painter to help you out

tahnks guys i was thinkin about a gray or silver so i think ill go for it and that tremclad sounds interesting ill have to do some research the only thing is that down here everybodys car gets critiqued really bad so i gotta be caeful
