Violated!

Got in my truck this morning for work, Someone busted my passenger side vent window (the sliding back glass dosnt even lock) guess they needed my (junky) cd player more than me! Just wish they would have chosen a different window.

That sucks, least they didnt bust up your dash to bad. My wife had a nice cj-7 in highschool and some douch stole her radio from chille's in broad daylight. She saw him getting out of her jeep through chille's window but buy time she got out there they were driving off. They stole her $100 radio, her highschool notebook but left her leather Harley jacket.

At least they didn't bust up your dash board prying it out with a crow bar. Must have been some anti-noise zealot that desided it was too loud.

You don't have any spare vent windows ??

After I broke the driver's side to get in because I left my keys in the truck, and a couple of months later someone broke the passenger side ----
I bought 2 spare sets from the boneyard when I found good ones.....

OF course I've had no problems since I bought the windows 3 yrs ago

Don't break the window to get in! I was going to break the window to open mine when the keys were locked in and my son inlaw said WAIT! He got two table knives, bent one a little and slipped it between the glass and the rubber and pushed it in far enough to reach the button on the latch, pushed the button in the inserted the other knife and flipped the latch lever up. Takes the whole sum of mabye 15-20 seconds. I have used this routeen several times after a brain cramp that resulted in !@#$%^& I did it again!!
I keep two table knives in my bed box. Brain cramp tools!!
It's easy and will not damage the rubber.
