Yes, the ring is still on, but it feels like its not, the blinker just likes to very dimly start blinking, but it doesnt always do it.
Also, I need to replace my window motor, what other trucks have the same motor? Or do I have to be as specific
as only my truck?

If the light on the dash is dim then you have a bulb burnt out.
If it's the bulb that's dim - it's probably still the bulb....
Try a new one. If that one is dim, it's flakey wiring.

On the axle. On the inside there is a slinger, a bushing, then the inner seal. That bushing may be missing.
On the blinker. My old Ramcharger would do that when the sockets would get rusty and cause a poor ground.
Hope this helps.

2nd that. my old chevy did that when the ground wire snapped off. Also made the headlight real dim too.

Which? The blinker bulb socket under the head light can get wet and rust. Pull the bulb and use a wire wheel on a dremmel to clean it out.
The axle you need to pull to check for the bushing.
