What's causing driver side to lean?

Is it common for our trucks to lean a bit on the drivers side?

In my case it seems to drop a handful of inches.

What could be the problem?

My front ones are new so it's probably a weak one in the rear. Thanks.

^ funny. Had a 78 chevy the same way. Found one broken leaf in the pack.

they are supposed to...........

I'm not being smart. I know how folks get ticked off in this age when they hear something they don't like.

The fuel tank is there. The battery is there. Suffice to say...........

I would check your cab and bed mounts. If they are rusty and have collapsed (or a rubber mount is shot) that can cause the truck to lean.

Mine leaned like that... New springs on all four corners fixed it. You figure diesel weighs 7.09 lbs per gallon at 30 gallons is roughly 212 lbs + a 200 lbs driver plus all the additions of incidental weight like small cargo thrown in the bed by the driver and driver controls over 20+ years. The left hand springs work alittle harder than the right hand ones do..

Mine does it. it looks like in my situation the driver rear leaf is sagging more then the passenger.

Just do what I do. Date really big heavy women then when they get into the truck it levels it out. Just a thought.
