Well today is the last day of spring break and as you can tell I didn't get ANYTHING done. It rained most of the time and when it wasn't raining my dad had me busy doing other stuff. Hopefully I'll get something done this week or next weekend.

There is a guy a few miles up the road that has an older 2wd crew cab dually that I may buy if he'll sell it and swap in my drive train, axles, and all that good stuff. Then I'd have a 4x4 SRW CC with a Cummins. I'm really wanting to get that truck!!

Just thinking out loud here.

Got some progress made today. I cleaned and painted the rear of the frame.

I guess no good day of work goes without any drawbacks. The grinder/wire wheel got away from me and ate up my hand. (yes I have fingers, I just had them bent when I took the pic )

I'm gonna wait until I replace the springs to paint the shackles and the axle. Tomorrow if it doesn't rain I may take off all the brake lines, drop the fuel tank and start on the inside frame rails. Then after that the front clip is coming off and I'll be painting the front frame and inner fenders. I'm debating on if I want to lift the cab up to make it easier to do that section of the frame of what I'm doing. I defiantly won't be taking the cab off, but I may raise it up a foot or so, so that I can paint the top of the frame and fix some holes in the floor of the cab.

Well it started getting cold on me so I've just been messing around doing little things to keep myself busy, I cut the muffler off the other day and, wow!, I thought it'd be louder than it is! It still sounds good though.

Nice "Clearance dent"

So, THATS where that exhaust leak was coming from.

Factory muffler?

Interior w/o carpet

Please tell me the floor is supposed to look like this...

Great... Just great.

I want to strangle whoever swapped this transmission in.

Ouch! They could have been a little more careful cutting that in. Shouldn't be too bad to fix though.
From what you have done so far I am sure it will look like new when you get done. So far I've been way impressed.
