Granted our trucks may not be ideal for "saving the planet" but the fact that these people expect us to pay MORE for taxes just because they don't have to is ludicrous. Granted the 24~ MPG i get on the highway isn't anything near the 45 they CAN get in the city, but in the event of a collision I have more metal than plastic around me.
For the record if I am traveling less than 5 miles in either direction i ride my 15 speed bicycle.
If these guys really want to save energy, epically the energy that's required to MAKE the vehicle
Vento Motorcycles, USA is the way to go. That being said I am considering getting one of these, the 49cc one you don't need a motorcycle endorsement for.
