My 2000 doesn't leak a drop...neither does my bro's 06. A new vehicle shouldn't leak oil...period.

You might crawl under it and see if you can identify the exact source of the leak. Trying to judge the source from the drip location isn't always accurate.

With all the hardware under the hood, oil can bounce off of a lot of stuff before it hits the ground. It also may have been blown around the engine when driving.

Before going back to the dealer, I'd try to be armed with as much information as I could. If they claim leaking is normal, have them show you the oil drips under their new trucks as proof.
