How about using a length a thin (1/8" OD) stainess-steel line and coiling it up, then going to plastic somewhere away from the manifold, like on the firewall.
Copper would get soft from the heat and probably break.
If there was a leak somewhere, and the hot gasses started to escape, that would wreck the plastic. However the small diameter and length of the ss line should do a good job of limiting flow and temperature.
Here's another thought, which half of the manifold to tap into? As far as I know the front half does not get the benifit of a wastegate, so the DP's would be diferent in the two halves of the manifold. This may not apply to the later CR motors.
