Test the Amsoil before using it. Soak up some of the oil with a paper towel and burn it. Compare it to conventional motor oil (doing the same). I found that Mobil 1 burns cleaner than Castrol GTX.
For filtration I'm using 0.5 micron polyester felt bag filters with an absolute rating of 99%. Two passes doubled bag the rating is 99.9%.
