I think the reason it keeps coming up is because there are other people who have ran it for tens of thousands of miles and have saved umpteen hundred dollars on fuel.. Which being $150 to fill the dodge, it really would pay for anything that messed up... Besides that, the only thing I can see is selling it to someone who is going to care for it and run 8 different oil filters on it, etc, etc, and then has things go wrong because the previous owner dumped oil in it.. But as long as you tell them, and they are planning on doing the same thing...I see no problem.. The people with 20000 miles on WMO running it 50/50, say 20MPG, 35 gallon fillup.... would take $4430 on all diesel or $2215 on 50/50 which means you saved $2215, which is plenty to get anything that breaks, especially on a 1st gen.. And then theres those that have gone over 50k without anything breaking... But what do you think is worse, oil with tiny particles, or lube ridden ULSD?? I never heard of anything failing on WMO, but everyday it seems someone on ULSD trashed another VP44...
