The oil change light is supposedly in conjunction with viscosity ....mine has come on early as well....just turn the key on pump the accelerator pedal three times and it will reset it...no biggie truck won't blow up....follow the 7500 mile service and you will be fine...the key trick only works part of the time...take it to the dealer or stop by a large parts store and have them read it for you
