screw dodge!
Had check engine light on 3 times! first they thought bad fuel, I payed and fuel filter replaced. 5 minutes later back in shop, turbo needs to be drilled and cleaned. One month later back in to have Tourbo replaced and EGR cleaned out. 3 days after that rip Engine light on for 3rd time. Spoke with service manager and he blamed it on Hess Diesel. Then tech came in and said he will look at my truck. They have to replace my DPF, because it is full. This truck is a piece of crap. 11,000 miles and I have all these problems. They told me that when they did the turbo drill and tap that it caused the DPF to fill up with crap. They said they inspected the DPF when I brought it in to have the Turbo replaced and they never spotted that the DPf was full from the first fix! If you read your owners manual it states what will be displayed such as "Catalyst Stat 99%" when it is full and has to be replaced. That never came on in my truck at all. So they took off my DPF banged it on the ground and cleaned it out and the DPF is on backorder for a couple of weeks. I have contacted an attorney and he is reviewing my invoices, he thinks I can sue Dodge under the Magnesson-Moss act. I am gonna make Dodge buy this vehicle back for what I owe on it if I go to court. The only real fix is to void the warranty and do all of the deletes these guys are doing. I just don't want to void my warranty. When I contacted Chrysler Corp and they were useless. They wonder why people are losing jobs in the American Auto Industry. Eventually they will stop making diesels because no one will be em!
