What we want? What does Chrysler THINK we want? I'll tell you; we don't want new turbos after 7K miles. We don't want new EGRs or O2 sensors. We don't want new DPFs. We don't want mobile desoots and static regens. We don't want recalls and endless flashes. We simply want a reliable and efficient truck. Period.
CanRam, I understand your position but I think you guys need to appreciate a consumer's position too. Short of hiring legal council, there is nowhere else to go for help!
This 6.7 Ram is the most expensive vehicle I've ever purchased and out of 35+ vehicles in my life, it's the biggest pain in the a$$ I've ever owned. And I can tell you I've had basket cases.
I did not sign up to be a paying research and development driver for Chrysler. But if they want to make my payments, I'll gladly do it for them. Problems of this magnitude experienced by so many is unacceptable and frankly, unnecessary.
So I'm here to say that every time my little CEL comes on or my truck hiccups, my main recourse as a consumer (luckily with a warranty) is to make my truck a rolling hell for the advisor and tech. Don't get me wrong here; I like my advisor and think highly of my tech! But if enough guys fill up the bays and service drives with these things, eventually somebody is going to listen.
Sorry for the rant, but that's a pretty raw nerve to hit around here for some of us.
Time to take my blood pressure medicine again...
