Been an amsoil guy all my life and soon to be a dealer, the best example i have is my dad has a mid 70's chain saw and has ran amsoil in it it's whole life, i took it apart a couple years ago, and the hone marks were still in the cylinder walls. royal purple is a good product too don't get me wrong there, but i'd rather have amsoil imho. they've been around for alot longer and they were the first in synthetics.
