I went through Transmission Exchange down off of MLK in Portland. I got a whole rebuild kit with the Red Alto Eagle clutches, a new heavy duty trans cooler, a low stall single disc TC, and Transgo shift kit for $1250.

Then it took me about a week to rebuild it in my garage. Runs great, the only thing I'd recommend is to go ahead and buy yourself a governor pressure solenoid and sensor, and if you think that your lock up solenoids might be on the way out get them too.

My lock up solenoids are fine but within the last 150 miles noticed that it was shifting a little weird, but I attribute that to my gov solenoid going out, or the sensor; so I plan on replacing them both within the week or so.
