Think frieght avg is going for 2.50 to 4.00 per mile for 45 ft
4 car hauling pay avg is around 2-3.25 dpm.
Can be more, can be less, all depends on how good dispatch is and time of year.
When i speak dpm, im also speaking 1000-1500 mile haul pay
Freight seems to be the better choice as it pays more and you get better mpg with a lowboy as with a car carrier, well, you have a wall above your cab. Difference can be MAJOR in fuel bills so that is something to think about too. Getting into cars is easy, getting into freight is moderately easy but more room for screw ups and takes time to learn about strap techniques and weight and positioning and deminsions. Let alone takes alot more time to load and unload then auto. It all depends how how you wanna work.

about the hemi. U will need a dually though to make the bigger bucks, srw will limit you on weight
