Folks - don't delude yourselves into rationalizing a 'legal' way to remove the DPF.

2007 and newer trucks ALL require DPFs to comply with EPA standards and tampering with them in any way violates Federal law under the Clean Air Act.

Getting caught and fined is another story but there is no 'loophole' here no matter what the state told you or what the Dodge window sticker says.

DPF or EGR delete = 100% illegal.
