I am getting about the same. On a recent trip to Vegas from Southern California I hand calculated 21.4 mpg. That is from the beach all the way to the casinos. I even had to travel over the Sierras.
I am not sure of my mileage before the Jr, as i ordered the Smarty before I even bought my truck.
