I wouldn't neccessarily blame it on all parents, it's these idiots we have appointed as judges, and these low life lawyers that will twist the laws and get kids off on some stupid technicality...hopefully these people will be the ones to get it someday! Society has unfortunately gotten to the point that kids have more rights then adults. You say spank the kid...well I 100% agree, it taught me to respect what my parents told me to do and respect other elders. There is a difference between spanking and beating...beating goes beyond proper parenting . You don't have to even touch your kid nowdays and you can be hauled through the courts and your name branded for life just by a false accusation from a kid that has a hate on for you, so unfortunatly an adult has no rights to disipline their kids anymore. It's sad, in my area there was a kid (16-17 when this happened) that stabbed a guy, went to court and got a slap on the wrists, last weekend he stabbed two people again and it now on the run. And the worst part is that i'lll almost lay money that when he goes to court again, the moron that is acting judge will let him go again. The judge that let him go the first time should be fired and never allowed to precide over cases again. Hope he feels like an idiot
