the v8 nv4500 has a smaller main shaft.. The v-10 and diesel ahve a 29 spline main shaft and the v8 has the 23 spline.. The advantage is you can use a t case from an auto truck with a v-8 nv 4500 but you have the smaller main shaft.. Go to
