I have noticed a 2 mpg drop when I use discount fuel (grocery store fuel). I get the best performance and mileage from Shell fuel.
Your truck is possessed!

Even with 3.73's, I try to stay under 65 and 2k rpm. That, 80 psi in front and 70 in duals, short shifting, the tailgate spoiler, and coasting down hills, seem to help the most.

Has anyone seen documented hand calculated mpg increases taking out the turbo silencer ring and intake tube ring? My family sure likes the quiet truck, but for another mpg or 2 they could tolerate the whistle...

I wonder if the Kroger/Ingles get fuel from a differnet distributor than Shell. I have been told several times it all comes from the same tankers/ships...
