Sorry yall were disappointed. I didnt make it up. I know how it can be with a drag race event.
1. When weather doesnt cooperate it makes it ROUGH for the track crew. The "pop up thunderstorms" can make for a very long event, if not shut it down.
2. Diesel drag racing is a fairly new event. Main thing is to get behind them and support them and NADM and really get things rolling. When you put in months of planning, phone calls to vendors and sponsors, getting purse $ together, setting up the event, working it all day long to make sure it goes smooth and fair, your BEAT. And THEN when you are dead on your feet, its time to tear down.
Like I said, main thing is to show them your support. I mean THEM and NADM. Get ahold of the right people prior to the event. Ask if they need any help on the event. They might not, but the support often means more than at the gate.

I will try to make the next event, had too much going on around here. BIg thanks to them for bringing the event to Ohio!
