I agree. Sounds like you got ahold of some old fart that probably has an old 6.9 IDI Ford and thinks it has a p-pump on it. Just kidding. I was talking to Gus the other day and he said that as long as you have 2 perfectly flat surfaces going back together, you CAN use a stock head gasket and head bolts. Said that he had one that was holding 80+ psi. I believe him because he is VERY familiar with the ole Cummins.
