Kwag, The 5.9 exhaust manifold will fit the head of the 6.7 but the port where the turbo fits will not fit the VGT that is on the 6.7, unless we port it out somewhat larger to fit the VGT which I figure there will be more than a few of us here do so in the near future LOL... AMC, I didn't lose but maybe like 2 oz's at the most... Just enough to make a small splash on the drive about 8" circle LOL... Comp, Dude you did do the do with all the PIC's as you seem to do LOL... At first when I was looking this all over before I did mine, I thought you would really need to keep the anti freeze loop in place and use a hose to loop it back over to the air bleed tube. Now that I have done mine and looked my manual over and the actual engine as I done mine, I see many places along the head that use this for a tap to the cooling circuit... The only thing I did different than you was I kept my hose lower and brought it back into the air bleed pipe... I think you could have a air lock with the hose up much higher than the air bleed pipe if you were not real careful. Reguardless of how you guys end up doing this, getting this mess off the 6.7 really cleans up the engine even more...

Yeah I am still thinking of changing the CCV piping and as things go i may close that line off like others have done. I want to wait a little though and see how it goes this way.

Comp, I have messed around with my darn vent line for quite a bit. I now have the vent ran into the OEM air box so as to let it catch any of the oily drips and/or splatter so that nothing like the liquid hits the impeller of the VGT. I had mine going to the exhaust and being drafted by it, but I would get a code ever so often. Dumped out on the downpipe and just open to the air for even longer and I still get a code ever so often from that as well. Only get the code at WFO, so its not such a biggy, but I still didn't like that code at all... Routed it this weekend while doing the EGR cooler delete, into the OEM air box. I have yet to ever see any signs of blow on my truck at all. Not sure what to think about this just yet either. I don't think that is normal though... Might be why my truck never has got the fuel mileage so many of you guys have LOL... I have change my crankcase filter twice now and its always been dirty looking, but never dripped with oil... Got to look into this though and see what might be causing mine to have no blow by what so ever...

I am not sure if it would work on our trucks or not, but on a Mercury Mystique I did a 3.0L Duratec swap in I had alot of problems with CCV oiling down the intake. I put and oil air separator from a compressor inline with it and that way the oil never made it to the intake so it could be ported to anywhere that had a vacuum. Seems like it would work pretty well for those who are getting some oily deposits. Just need to make sure you keep it emptied...

I had to pull my boost gauge yesterday and I couldn't believe that I've got soot all the way up at my gauge. This stuff has got to go.... Hopefully I will be able to get rid of the DPF and EGR in another month or so....

Update: Thanks for making a sticky. I drove a few miles today and dont notice a lot of difference. Its a little louder but not a lot. Ebrake seems to work the same. I did notice a little difference in Coolant temps but not huge. Maybe 3 degrees.
