right, that is the expensive one that is included in my kits all the other ones are cheapies. I did a bulk buy from Cummins on those ones, if anybody needs one I'll sell it to you cheaper than you can get it from the dealer or cummins. There have been a few guys that have had the stock gaskets blow out or have leaks after attempting to reuse them. I feel that new gaskets is just the safe way to go.

I know this may sound crazy and I have read all the posts on unplugging the EGR, but I cannot open any pictures. Is the EGR on the right or left side of the motor?. There is a plug on the right side that sticks out horizontily and then there is one on the right that sticks out upward. Just want to be sure. Thanks for the help.

The EGR itself sits on top of the intake manifold on the driver's side of the engine. The EGR cooler and servo motor both sit on the exhaust manifold on the passenger's side of the engine.

Thanks Broncohound and KBosworth06. I thought that was it but without confirmation I didn't want to unplug the wrong thing. Going to unplug today and see what happens.

Thanks again

if you have any of those wobble extensions those will work to get that one off, or even a swiveling impact socket. I didn't have to use the crows foot on the ones that I have done. I did try it on the first one, and it ended up being so tight that I almost bent it open anyway. I would keep trying different socket and extension setups until you find one that work. Best of luck.
