VIDEO: MP8 - Shimming the 6.7L fuel valve

I've never done a 'how to' video before nor have I ever shimmed a fuel release valve so I did a video of the process.

YouTube - 6.7 Cummins - Shimming the fuel release

It turns out that I really like using the word 'actually'

Big thanks to Compcowboy for the pictures of how the insides go together.

Very good video, nice work. :thumbsup

The 6.7L fuel release valve is very similar to the Duramax version. A modifed Durmax valve has been available for years.

Has anyone tried to mod the 2003-2007 5.9L fuel release valve rather than just block it off?
Perhaps it is not possible to modify it?

...Joe

I can't find an install manual for the power puck but if it requires shimming the fuel release valve then it will be the same procedure.

Glad y'all like the vid, a first for me and it was difficult talking to nothing but a camera.
