I installed a couple of plates under the EGR valve to block all that black burned sooty fuel from coating the intake and turbo. It seems to get better mileage but the turbo doesnt act right. No boost until you step on it and I think I can hear a little turbo explosion at times. IS this something I should not have done? Im going to unblock the egr valve and see if it acts the same. With it blocked it it seems to go to negitive vacuum at times untill I step on it and spin the turbo up. So if anyone know how to delete the egr valve so it doesnt dump all that back into the intake, please let me know.

You have to remove the butterfly in the intake elbow and leave the EGR unplugged. Along with the above mentioned items

reinstall egr
I have since found the thread on egr delete and since I have not done the DPF delete , Im going to remove the plates and reinstall the egr to stock. I changed the crankcase ventilation to the open style like the 5.9 has. Those fumes dont help the turbo for keeping clean and not gummed up either. I hope the dealer has the egr gasgets.
