Well the check engine light came on again ? I was told that the truck had already had the flash done to the ECU ? Son of a gun, this is disapointing. I was told the EGR valve code, was on the ECU last time. I have only put on 100 miles since it came back from the dealer, after it sat six days in the shop doing nothing to it. Bummer. I'm still not a happy camper.

Have them check the release date on the Flash that you have on your ECU! if it is the June 12th then it was redone... if not then have them find the 6-12 and get it in there!

have no fear! remember 3 yr 36K miles to sort it out!

nail 'em down! and if you have to remind them about customer service! it's not your fault, the truck is tossing codes!

Keep all your ducks in a row! and see if they won't give you a copy of all documentation that they've got on your truck!

it'll get better!

I am new to this forum. I purchase a 2007.5 a few weeks ago. My fuel mileage was terrible at first also. I have approx. 2500 miles on it know. I just drove to Floridda today and got 18 miles to the gallon at 80 mph. I was told that around 5000 miles I would see a change in gas milegage. I to am having the same problem with my truck, sometimes it starts and is very loud and runs like crap! I stop and recycle the key and it runs fine. It also will be back in the shop on Monday!!! Through all of this this is still a great truck so far.

Ok, we will see?

Took the truck in today and they flashed the new code to the ECU. I think that will help. I just turned 2,000 miles on the way home and the fuel milage started to creep up some. Was only getting 13 mpg, now up to 14 and climbing. I would like to see better soon. Oh by the way, My truck has a born on date of 6-07.

Latest TSB

The most recent update for the 6.7 is TSB 18-033-07 Rev B which is an update of the one released on June 12th (Rev A). Rev B included a new 'bootloader' software but is in essence the same as A, so if you have either one uploaded to the ECU, your current software is up to date. This would apply to any units built after June 11, 2007. It is an extensive flash (8 pages in length) and addresses a wide variety of issues. The flash in it's entirety can be found here.

I just had mine done yesterday, the invoice says ;

"C/S Engine lamp. Dislpay shows 100% particulate full... found P1451/P2463. Needs TSB 18-033-07 performed, flashed ECM with bootloader file then actual software then performed regeneration tests. OK QC-TN MO-2054 "

Does anyone know what those codes were?

We'll see how well it works...

Just dropped mine off this morning, my service ticket says that they need to perform RRT #07. They told me I would have it back this afternoon so we will see what happens.

Taking mine back Monday for the 3rd time for check engine light. Only had it for 7 weeks. Truck is running fine though, no performance issues, just aggravaging right now.
